Kalyana Matching Solution (KMS) is designed to provide a respectful and trustworthy environment for people seeking meaningful matrimonial connections.
These Community Guidelines apply to everyone using KMS matrimonial services.
By creating or using a matrimonial profile, you agree to follow these guidelines in addition to the KMS Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. BE HONEST
Your matrimonial profile should represent you accurately.
Do not:
- Use a fake name or identity;
- Pretend to be another person;
- Provide deliberately false information;
- Misrepresent your age, marital status, education, occupation or other important information;
- Use photographs belonging to another person as your own.
If important information changes, update your profile where possible.
2. USE YOUR OWN PHOTOGRAPHS
Profile photographs should represent the person whose profile is being created.
Do not upload:
- Another person's photographs;
- Celebrity photographs;
- Misleading photographs;
- Images designed to impersonate another person;
- Images containing offensive or unlawful material.
KMS may request profile verification where necessary.
3. RESPECT OTHER MEMBERS
Treat other members respectfully.
Do not:
- Harass;
- Threaten;
- Insult;
- Humiliate;
- Intimidate;
- Stalk;
- Repeatedly contact someone after they have asked you to stop.
Everyone has the right to decline communication.
4. NO FRAUD OR SCAMS
KMS has zero tolerance for fraudulent activity.
Do not use KMS to:
- Request money through deception;
- Pretend to be in financial difficulty to obtain money;
- Promote investment schemes;
- Request loans;
- Request bank transfers under false pretences;
- Collect financial information;
- Conduct fraudulent business activities.
Be particularly careful if someone you have recently met asks you for money.
5. PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Do not publicly share sensitive information such as:
- Passwords;
- OTPs;
- Bank account information;
- Credit/debit card information;
- Copies of identity documents;
- Private financial information;
- Security questions or authentication information.
Only share personal information when you are comfortable and understand the potential risks.
6. NO SEXUAL OR EXPLOITATIVE CONTENT
Matrimonial profiles should remain appropriate and respectful.
KMS does not permit:
- Explicit sexual content;
- Pornographic material;

- Content involving minors in a sexual context;
- Sexually explicit profile descriptions or photographs.
7. NO HATE OR DISCRIMINATORY ABUSE
Users must not use KMS to threaten, harass or promote hatred against individuals or groups.
Do not post content that is:
- Abusive;
- Threatening;
- Dehumanising;
- Harassing;
- Intentionally discriminatory.
Users may communicate their personal preferences respectfully without attacking or degrading others.
8. NO IMPERSONATION
You must not pretend to be:
- Another KMS member;
- A KMS employee;
- A KMS representative;
- A vendor;
- Another public or private individual.
Do not create misleading profiles designed to deceive other members.
9. NO SPAM
KMS matrimonial features must not be used for unsolicited mass communication.
Do not:
- Send repetitive promotional messages;
- Mass-message users;
- Promote unrelated businesses;
- Send automated messages;
- Collect user contacts for external marketing without appropriate permission.
10. RESPECT PRIVACY
Do not publish or distribute another person's private information without appropriate permission.
This includes:
- Telephone numbers;
- Addresses;
- Private photographs;
- Private messages;
- Identity documents;
- Financial information;
- Personal family information.
11. DO NOT USE KMS FOR UNRELATED COMMERCIAL PURPOSES
Matrimony profiles are intended for matrimonial purposes.
Do not create a matrimonial profile primarily to:
- Sell products;
- Recruit customers;
- Promote a business;
- Promote investment opportunities;
- Recruit members into unrelated schemes;
- Collect leads.
Wedding vendors should use the appropriate KMS vendor registration process.
12. TAKE CARE WHEN MEETING SOMEONE
If you decide to meet someone you discovered through KMS:
- Take reasonable precautions;
- Consider meeting in a public place;
- Inform someone you trust about your plans;
- Arrange your own transportation where appropriate;
- Avoid sharing sensitive financial information;
- Do not feel pressured to meet someone;
- Stop communication if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
KMS does not control what happens outside the Platform.
13. REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
If you believe a profile:
- Is fake;
- Is impersonating someone;
- Is attempting fraud;
- Is harassing users;
- Contains inappropriate material;
- Is violating these guidelines;
please report it to KMS through the available reporting mechanism or contact KMS directly.
Where appropriate, provide relevant information that can assist KMS in reviewing the report.
14. PROFILE VERIFICATION
KMS may introduce identity, profile or other verification features.
A verification indicator means only that the relevant verification procedure has been completed according to KMS's stated process.
Verification does not guarantee:
- Compatibility;
- Character;
- Honesty in every aspect of a profile;
- Financial status;
- Relationship outcome;
- Future behaviour.
Users should still exercise reasonable judgment.
15. PROFILE MODERATION
KMS may review, restrict, hide or remove profiles or content where reasonably necessary to:
- Protect users;
- Prevent fraud;
- Enforce these guidelines;
- Maintain Platform integrity;
- Comply with applicable law;
- Investigate complaints.
KMS may request additional information or verification where appropriate.
16. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION
KMS may suspend or terminate an account if there is a reasonable basis to believe that a user has:
- Violated these guidelines;
- Violated the KMS Terms & Conditions;
- Provided false information;
- Engaged in fraud;
- Harassed another user;
- Created a safety risk;
- Misused the Platform;
- Engaged in unlawful activity.
Depending on the circumstances, KMS may take immediate action.
17. RESPECT PERSONAL CHOICES
Matrimonial preferences are personal.
Users should communicate preferences respectfully and should not use KMS to insult, shame or demean people who do not meet their preferences.
A person is free to decline a connection.
Likewise, users should respect another person's decision not to continue communication.
18. CONTENT RIGHTS
By uploading photographs, profile descriptions or other content to KMS, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to use that content.
KMS may remove content where there is a reasonable complaint concerning ownership, privacy, safety or violation of these guidelines.
19. NO GUARANTEE OF MATCHES
KMS provides technology and services intended to facilitate matrimonial discovery and communication.
KMS does not guarantee:
- A particular number of matches;
- A successful relationship;
- Marriage;
- Compatibility;
- A response from another member;
- The accuracy of every statement made by another member.
Users remain responsible for their own decisions and relationships.
20. OUR APPROACH TO SAFETY
KMS aims to maintain a respectful and safer environment through measures such as:
- Profile moderation;
- Reporting mechanisms;
- Account controls;
- Verification processes where available;
- Removal or restriction of violating content;
- Investigation of reported activity.
No online platform can completely eliminate fraud, deception or other risks.
Users should remain vigilant and exercise appropriate caution.
